Wallpaper - Sunflowers Detail

Our Sunflowers Detail wallpaper brings a painterly still life composition into the room with warm, expressive energy. Created by artist Yvette St. Amant, the design features broad sunshine yellow and white flower petals set in a clear glass vase, balanced by delicate black branches with small white oval leaves. A soft pastel backdrop with subtle light green undertones gives the painted brushwork space to breathe, creating an artistic yet tranquil focal point. Like all of our wallpapers, this design is made-to-measure to fit your exact wall dimensions and printed on PVC-free paper with a subtle surface structure.

In the room

We see this floral motif working particularly well as an accent wall in a living room, entryway, or bedroom. Because the composition is arranged as an artistic still life with distinct central focus and open surrounding pastel tones, it benefits from being placed on a wall where the main floral arrangement is not completely blocked by tall furniture. In an entryway or hall, the bright yellow hues immediately create a warm, inviting impression when you step through the door. In a bedroom, placing this wall mural behind the headboard grounds the space while maintaining a light, restful atmosphere across the rest of the room.

Styling it

The visible brushstroke character of our mural wallpapers pairs naturally with simple, tactile interior elements that allow the artwork to stand out without visual clutter:

• Choose clean-lined furniture in warm wood tones, such as honeyed oak or natural birch, which echo the warmth of the yellow petals without competing with the painted details.
• Bring in plain linen textiles, soft off-white cushions, and muted green throws to connect with the subtle background tones of the painting.
• Keep wall decor on adjacent walls minimal, perhaps adding a single clear glass lamp or simple ceramic vase that reflects the still life theme of the motif.

Colour combinations

The palette within our design centres on warm sunshine yellows and crisp whites, anchored by fine black line work and framed by soft pastel greens in the background. When choosing paint colours for adjoining walls or woodwork, we recommend pulling directly from these softer surrounding shades. A gentle off-white or muted pale olive on adjacent walls keeps the space bright and cohesive, while darker charcoal accents on picture frames or lighting fixtures pick up on the delicate black branches in the composition.
