Wallpaper - Green Mountains

Designed by Ryan Fowler, our Green Mountains wallpaper captures the tranquil depth of rolling mountain ridges receding toward a quiet horizon. Layered tonal bands transition from deep hunter green in the foreground to pale, misty greens across the distant peaks, creating an atmospheric sense of space on the wall. A subtle, textured look across the slopes adds visual warmth and character without overwhelming the clean, horizontal rhythm of the landscape. Made to measure on our PVC-free paper, this landscape mural is straightforward to hang and brings a serene, grounding presence to any interior.

In the room

We particularly like how the layered mountain silhouettes introduce a natural sense of scale and visual depth to a room. In a bedroom, placing this wallpaper along the wall behind the headboard creates an enveloping, quiet backdrop that anchors the entire space. It works equally well across a wider living room wall, where the full panoramic horizon can stretch out uninterrupted beside a sofa or seating area. Because the deepest greens sit along the lower portion of the design, lower-profile furniture naturally integrates with the foreground, leaving the lighter peaks and open sky visible above eye level. In a dedicated meditation room or quiet reading corner, the gentle tonal gradient provides a calm, focused focal point.

Styling it

To complement the organic character of this design, we suggest pairing it with furniture and accents that share its calm, grounded aesthetic:

• Choose low-profile furniture in warm natural timber, such as mid-tone oak or walnut, which bridges the deep forest tones in the foreground with the rest of the room.
• Incorporate relaxed, textured textiles in unbleached linen, oatmeal wool, or soft sage to reflect the misty, atmospheric quality of the distant ridges.
• Introduce understated black metal or patinated bronze lighting fixtures to echo the defined silhouettes of the nearest mountain slopes without drawing attention away from the landscape.

Colour combinations

Our wallpaper is built around a refined gradient of greens, transitioning from dark hunter green and deep pine at the base up to soft sage, moss, and pale celadon near the horizon. When decorating around it, earthy neutrals such as warm stone, chalky off-white, and muted taupe on adjoining walls will allow the mural's green tones to stand out naturally. For upholstery or larger rugs, deep moss, olive, and charcoal provide rich tonal harmony, while accents in warm ochre, muted terracotta, or brushed brass offer a subtle, warming contrast against the cool green backdrop.
