Wallpaper - Heart of Hawaii

Our Heart of Hawaii wallpaper brings a serene coastal photographic view into the home, captured by Max Blakesberg Studios. The composition centres on a delicate heart arranged from white stones resting on reddish-brown volcanic rocks, opening up toward a turquoise ocean and a bright sky filled with soft clouds. The rich contrast between warm earth tones and luminous ocean blues gives this photographic mural a grounded, open feel. Like all Wallism mural wallpapers, this design is made to measure to your exact wall dimensions on our PVC-free paper with a subtle surface structure.

In the room

Because the motif carries a strong horizontal horizon and generous open sky, we see this working particularly well across a wider, uninterrupted feature wall. In a bedroom, placing this landscape on the wall behind the headboard allows the panoramic sea view to set a restful, airy tone for the entire space. It also feels completely at home in a dedicated meditation room or a quiet corner of a holiday home where you want an expansive natural focal point. Because the lower portion of the image contains grounding rock textures while the upper half remains light and open, natural daylight helps bring out the turquoise gradients in the water without overwhelming the room.

Styling it

We recommend keeping the surrounding furniture visually light and grounded so the natural scenery remains the focal point. Low-profile furniture in pale woods or simple white finishes lets the horizon line sit naturally in the space without feeling cut off. Soft, unpatterned textiles in natural off-white or sandy tones complement the stone elements nicely, balancing the rich volcanic browns and vibrant coastal blues without competing for attention.

Colour combinations

The wallpaper balances deep earthy reddish-browns and dark volcanic tones in the foreground against crisp white stones, turquoise water, and clear sky blues above. To complement this palette, we suggest pairing it with surrounding walls in soft off-white, light warm sand, or pale sky-toned neutrals. For woodwork and trim, clean whites keep the boundaries crisp, while deeper terracotta or stone-inspired accents in decorative pieces can gently echo the shoreline rocks.
