Wallpaper - Mount Rundle

Our Mount Rundle wallpaper captures a classic alpine landscape photographed by Jim Wiebe, featuring a wooden bridge crossing a calm river against the dramatic backdrop of snow-dusted mountain peaks and evergreen forest. The composition balances the cool tones of the clear blue sky and calm water with rich forest greens and earthy riverbanks. As with all Wallism designs, our mural wallpapers are custom made to your dimensions and printed on PVC-free paper with a subtle surface texture that is straightforward to hang.

In the room

In a living room, we would place this design on a main uninterrupted wall where the full mountain scenery and horizontal bridge can stretch across the space. The panoramic depth works well behind a low sofa or along an open wall area, drawing the eye into the natural landscape. For a holiday home or open living area, the expansive outdoor perspective gives the interior an open, grounded feel while connecting the indoor space to natural surroundings.

Styling it

Because the photography contains detailed natural forms and defined mountain contours, we suggest pairing it with clean, uncluttered furniture. Simple wooden pieces in natural pine or warm oak complement the wooden bridge and forest tones in the motif without competing with the scenery. Neutral upholstery in soft off-white or charcoal keeps the focus on the wall mural while balancing the rich greens and mountain blues.

Colour combinations

The wallpaper is built around sky blue, crisp white, deep evergreen, and earthy browns along the river and bridge. On adjacent walls, we recommend muted off-white or soft stone shades to let the sky and mountain peaks stand out naturally. Deep pine green or warm slate on surrounding woodwork or accent furniture will subtly pick up the darker tones in the forest and water.
