Wallpaper - Sweet Spring

Our Sweet Spring wallpaper brings delicate wildflowers across an open white background with a fluid, watercolour-like appearance. Designed by Shirley Novak, the composition pairs slender green stems with expressive blooms in soft earthy tones, featuring warm browns and saddle brown alongside subtle pink, beige, and small accents of yellow and purple. The scattered placement gives the floral motif an airy, rhythmic feel that keeps the wall feeling open rather than crowded. Like all Wallism mural wallpapers, this design is made-to-measure to your exact wall dimensions on PVC-free paper with a subtle surface structure, making it straightforward to hang.

In the room

In a bedroom or living room, we love giving this design a generous, relatively uninterrupted wall where the full height of the floral stems can be appreciated. Because the repeat has plenty of negative space around the delicate blooms, it brings visual interest to the space without feeling heavy or visually busy. On a feature wall behind a bed or low-backed sofa, the vertical lines of the flowers draw the eye upwards, helping the entire room feel light and balanced. In a quiet meditation room or reading corner, the soft watercolour character and earthy palette set a peaceful, contemplative tone that harmonises naturally with daylight.

Styling it

To complement the organic modern aesthetic of the design, we recommend keeping surrounding furniture simple and grounded. Low-profile furniture in pale or warm wood tones works beautifully with the floral motif, echoing the natural feel without competing for attention.

Textiles in washed linen, unbleached cotton, or lightweight wool in neutral tones allow the delicate colours of the wallpaper to stand out gently. We would avoid heavy, ornate furnishings or dense geometric patterns nearby, letting the airy rhythm of the meadow flowers remain the central visual focus of the room.

Colour combinations

The palette in our wallpaper centres on earthy saddle brown, soft beige, and muted pink, complemented by slender green foliage and subtle hints of pastel yellow and purple.

When choosing colours for adjacent walls, woodwork, or larger décor pieces, we suggest pulling from these warm, natural undertones. Soft off-whites, warm stone, or muted taupe create a seamless transition around the room. For a slightly more grounded look, introducing deeper accents of warm chestnut, muted olive, or dusky rose in upholstery or cushions ties the surrounding interior directly into the tones of the floral motif.
