Wallpaper - Sunrise Coast

Sunrise Coast by Danhui Nai brings an ethereal, painted coastal horizon into the home through soft horizontal brushstrokes and a muted pastel palette. Gentle washes of pastel pink, warm peach, sand, soft grey, and misty lavender blend across the composition, capturing the quiet light of daybreak over water with painterly abstraction. The broad, layered strokes create subtle visual movement without overwhelming the eye, making this design an atmospheric backdrop for calm residential interiors. Like all our mural wallpapers, it is custom made to your specific wall dimensions on PVC-free paper with a subtle surface structure, and is straightforward to hang.

In the room

We see this design working especially well in a bedroom or a peaceful living room where the horizontal flow of the horizon can establish a sense of open space. Because the composition stretches softly across the width of the artwork, it is well suited to wider, uninterrupted walls, such as behind a bed or framing a low seating area. In spaces with soft natural daylight, the delicate transitions between the pastel pinks and cool grey-blue undertones emerge clearly, while warmer evening lamplight enhances the sandy, golden tones along the lower sections.

Styling it

To complement the gentle aesthetic of this wallpaper, we suggest pairing it with organic modern or contemporary furnishings that share its relaxed simplicity. Low-profile furniture in light or warm wood tones helps ground the airy quality of the artwork without competing with its delicate brushwork. For surrounding textiles, simple weaves and soft neutral fabrics in off-white, taupe, or soft grey keep the room cohesive, allowing the subtle colours of the wall mural to remain the focal point.

Colour combinations

The artwork centres around delicate pastel pink, pale peach, sand, muted grey, and hints of soft lilac. When choosing colours for adjacent walls, trim, or larger decor pieces, soft warm whites and muted chalky neutrals create a gentle, seamless transition. If you prefer subtle contrast, picking up the deeper sandy tones or cool misty greys in curtains, upholstery, or painted woodwork will anchor the scheme while respecting the tranquil balance of the motif.
