Wallpaper - My Pumpkin Pie Recipe

Our My Pumpkin Pie Recipe wallpaper by Farida Zaman captures the charm of an illustrated handwritten recipe card on an expansive scale. The design features a whole spiced pumpkin pie on a soft blue cake stand alongside a plated slice with whipped cream, balanced by hand-lettered ingredients and baking instructions against a clean off-white ground. Painted in warm tones of pumpkin orange, golden crust, and gentle sky blue, the illustrated composition brings character and warmth to the wall. Like all Wallism mural wallpapers, this design is made-to-measure and printed on PVC-free wallpaper paper with a subtle surface structure.

In the room

We see this design working beautifully in a kitchen, dining room, or breakfast nook where food and gathering naturally take centre stage. Because the composition balances text with painted illustration, we suggest giving it a clear, relatively uninterrupted wall area, such as along a dining banquette, beside an open kitchen island, or framing a pantry corner. In spaces with good daytime light, the crisp contrasts of the black lettering and the warmth of the pie illustrations stand out clearly without overwhelming the room.

Styling it

To complement the playful illustrative style, we would keep surrounding elements grounded and tactile:

• Pair with warm natural timber, such as pine, oak, or ash furniture, which echoes the baked crust and autumnal palette of the illustration.
• Choose simple ceramics and tableware in off-white, glazed terracotta, or muted soft blue to tie in with the colours on the wall.
• Keep surrounding kitchen cabinetry or wall fixtures relatively understated so the graphic recipe detail remains the primary focal point of the space.

Colour combinations

The design is built around vibrant pumpkin orange, warm crust brown, soft sky blue, and deep black lettering set against an off-white backdrop. For neighbouring walls and woodwork, we recommend soft chalky whites, warm creams, or muted stone tones that allow the design to breathe. If you want to introduce richer colour in surrounding trim or furniture, earthy cinnamon, warm rust, or a heritage slate blue will draw out the tones in the pie and serving plate naturally.
