Wallpaper - Dreaming Of Magnolias, Clean White

Our Dreaming Of Magnolias wallpaper in Clean White presents large, blooming magnolia flowers across a soft, light grey backdrop. Designed by Imary, the motif features creamy white petals with subtle blush pink undertones, dark centres, and branching dark green foliage that weaves through the composition. The painted character gives the blooms a gentle, artistic presence on the wall while maintaining clear visual definition. Like all of our wallpapers, this mural design is made-to-measure and printed on PVC-free paper with a subtle surface texture.

In the room

In a residential setting, we see this floral mural wallpaper working particularly well in a living room, bedroom, dining space, or playroom. The generous scale of the magnolia blossoms means the pattern benefits from wider, uninterrupted walls where the branches have space to spread out naturally. Placed behind a low-profile headboard or as the backdrop to a dining table, the design anchors the room without feeling visually overwhelming. For smaller spaces or rooms with multiple doorways, using this wallpaper on a single accent wall keeps the composition clear and prevents the large floral motifs from being cut off abruptly.

Styling it

We recommend pairing this wallpaper with furniture that has clean, classic lines or subtle Regency-inspired curves to complement the painterly floral forms. Natural, mid-tone or darker painted wood finishes ground the lighter tones of the petals, while simple upholstery allows the movement in the branches to take focus. Keeping accessories relatively minimal and focusing on tactile, unpatterned ceramics or smooth painted surfaces ensures the wall remains the main visual feature of the room.

Colour combinations

The design centres on creamy whites, blush pink undertones, and light grey, balanced by deep leafy greens and warm brown branches. To build a cohesive room around our mural wallpapers, consider pulling the soft grey or delicate blush from the petals onto adjacent walls or painted joinery. For larger furniture or accent pieces, deep forest green or muted earthy tones pick up the foliage naturally and create a grounding contrast against the pale background.
