Wallpaper - Forest Animals Telft Tiles, Green

Our Forest Animals Telft Tiles wallpaper by Blue Bee Studios captures the character of traditional ceramic tiles with a charming woodland narrative. Set in a grid of decorative frames with delicate corner scrollwork and fine botanical detail, each tile features an animal illustration in deep green over an off-white background with a crackled finish. Two rabbits nestle together, a poised fox watches in quiet calm, a swallow swoops mid-flight, and two playful hares box upright. We make our mural wallpapers made-to-measure on PVC-free paper with a subtle surface structure, making them straightforward to hang.

In the room

We find this tile-inspired layout works especially well in areas where you want decorative interest and storybook charm without heavy visual clutter. In an entryway, boot room, or hallway, the repeating tile composition gives the space rhythm and structure. It is equally suited to a kitchen, pantry, or powder room, where the heritage ceramic look feels right at home alongside cabinetry and open shelving. For a nursery, toddler room, or children's bedroom, the animal portraits bring a gentle warmth that stays timeless as the room grows. Because the repeating square structure is balanced and tidy, the wallpaper sits comfortably on a single accent wall or wrapped around smaller, fragmented walls interrupted by doorways.

Styling it

To complement the historic, handcrafted look of the tile motifs, we would pair this wallpaper with simple, characterful interior elements:

• Choose painted cabinetry or panelling in soft heritage shades like muted sage, warm cream, or deep olive to frame the wallpaper naturally.
• Introduce natural surfaces such as aged timber furniture or rustic stone flooring to echo the rustic, country-house aesthetic.
• Keep surrounding accessories quiet and functional, using unlacquered brass hardware, woven baskets, and stoneware ceramics to complement the vintage look without competing for attention.

Colour combinations

The design is defined by its deep green linework against an aged, crackled off-white background. To build a cohesive room around it, we suggest pulling directly from these tones with soft neutrals, warm ivory, or antique white on adjacent walls and woodwork. If you prefer more depth, pairing the wallpaper with rich forest greens or muted olive paints creates a grounded, tonal look. For a classic cottage feel, warm neutral tones and natural terracotta accents work wonderfully alongside the green tile illustrations.
