Wallpaper - Coastal Palms, Grass

Our Coastal Palms, Grass wallpaper, created in collaboration with RNM Arts, brings a relaxed coastal mood to walls through soft green palm trees and sweeping fronds set against an off-white cream backdrop. What we particularly appreciate about this design is the rhythmic, stippled linework swirling through the background, which adds a sense of gentle movement behind the illustrated greenery. The balanced repeat and muted grass-green tones keep the tropical botanical motif subtle rather than overwhelming. Produced as made-to-measure mural wallpapers on PVC-free paper with a subtle surface structure, our wallpapers are easy to hang and adapt gracefully to your interior.

In the room

In a bedroom, we like how this wallpaper creates a calm, breezy backdrop behind a headboard or across an entire room without feeling visually crowded. The soft green tones and open composition also make it a natural fit for a hallway or entryway, where the swirling detail adds interest on narrower walls.

Because the contrast remains gentle, this design works well across multiple connected walls in a living room or dining area. In spaces with good natural daylight, the fine sketched lines and subtle shifts between the green fronds become particularly distinct, while under warmer ambient lighting in the evening, the cream base gives the entire room an inviting glow.

Styling it

We recommend pairing this design with natural materials and relaxed textures that complement its organic character. Light oak, ash, or painted off-white furniture keeps the focus on the palm motif, while woven rattan, cane, or jute accents echo the coastal feeling of the pattern.

For upholstery and curtains, simple woven fabrics in ecru, oatmeal, or muted olive blend harmoniously with the wallpaper. Keeping surrounding patterns quiet allows the detailed linework of the palms to take centre stage.

Colour combinations

The palette of our wallpaper centres on soft grass green, pale sage, and a warm cream background.

When choosing paint colours for surrounding trim, ceiling, or adjoining walls, we suggest matching the background with warm off-white, chalk, or soft ivory. For a deeper, more grounded accent on doors or cabinetry, a muted olive, moss green, or soft terracotta creates a handsome, nature-inspired dialogue with the palm illustration.
