Wallpaper - Climbing Wisteria, Greige

Our Climbing Wisteria, Greige wallpaper brings a graceful botanical composition to the wall with curving brown branches, fresh green foliage, and cascading white floral clusters set against a soft greige background. Drawing on classic chinoiserie and Art Nouveau botanical motifs, the pattern balances flowing movement with a calm, earthy palette. We particularly like how the varied leaves and hanging flowers introduce vertical rhythm without feeling crowded. Produced made to measure on PVC-free paper with a subtle surface structure, this design brings an understated, timeless character to both classic and contemporary interiors.

In the room

The vertical climb of the branches and hanging blossoms makes this wallpaper particularly effective on walls where the full height of the room can be appreciated. In a bedroom, we like placing it behind the headboard to frame the sleeping space with a quiet, organic backdrop. In a dining room or living room, giving the design a generous, uninterrupted wall allows the sweeping curves of the branches to establish their natural rhythm.

Because the greige backdrop and delicate floral clusters keep the contrast gentle, this design also works beautifully across multiple walls in more intimate areas. We see it working well in an entryway, dressing room, or home office where a cohesive, wrap-around botanical atmosphere feels welcoming rather than overwhelming.

Styling it

When styling around this mural wallpaper, we suggest leaning into its soft heritage feel with classic furnishings and quiet textural materials.

• Choose warm or mid-tone wood furniture, such as walnut or warm oak, which complements the winding brown branches in the pattern.
• Balance the detailed floral composition with solid, unpatterned upholstery in cream, oatmeal, or muted olive tones.
• Incorporate subtle brass or antique bronze accents in lighting fixtures and hardware to enhance the design's classic character without competing with the botanical motif.

Colour combinations

The palette in our wallpaper centres on neutral greige, complemented by earthy brown branch lines, fresh green foliage, and soft white flower clusters.

For adjacent walls and painted architectural trim, soft off-whites and creamy neutrals create a seamless, cohesive transition. If you want to draw out the deeper tones of the motif, a muted olive or warm taupe on surrounding woodwork adds sophisticated framing. For larger textiles like curtains and upholstery, pairing the wallpaper with warm stone or muted linen tones keeps the overall room scheme balanced and grounded.
