Wallpaper - Conoid Grain, Naples Yellow

Our Conoid Grain, Naples Yellow wallpaper brings a refined, organic woodgrain motif to the wall with soft, fluid contours and fine undulating line work. Created by Wallism Studio, the pattern interprets the gentle flow of timber grain across an airy, pale blonde and delicate cream palette. Its light contrast and vertical rhythm create an understated visual texture that gives a room architectural presence without dominating the surrounding interior. Like all our wall murals, this design is made-to-measure to fit your specific wall dimensions and is printed on PVC-free paper with a subtle physical surface structure.

In the room

Because of its gentle contrast and continuous vertical flow, we see this wallpaper working beautifully in living rooms, bedrooms, or dedicated home offices. On a wider, uninterrupted wall, the sweeping contours of the grain have ample space to unfold, providing a warm, grounding backdrop behind a low-backed sofa or a bed frame. In smaller spaces such as hallways or dressing rooms, the delicate pale tones keep the room feeling bright and open while adding noticeable visual depth that flat paint cannot achieve. The subtle details in the grain lines read softly from across the room, becoming more intricate as you step closer.

Styling it

We would approach this design with a focus on clean lines and balanced material warmth. The pale woodgrain pattern sits naturally alongside both contemporary Scandinavian interiors and calm mid-century arrangements.

To create a cohesive scheme, we recommend pairing this design with furniture in warm, mid-tone timber or matte painted finishes in chalky neutrals, which allow the wall pattern to remain the quiet focal point. For soft furnishings, heavier woven textiles in unbleached linen or textured wool bring a tactile balance to the clean visual lines of the wall. Keeping lighting soft and diffuse in the evening accentuates the warm undertones of the Naples yellow base.

Colour combinations

The palette of our wallpaper is anchored in soft cream, pale butter, and light biscuit tones.

When choosing colours for surrounding walls, woodwork, and larger furniture, we suggest looking toward complementary shades that echo its gentle warmth:

• Warm off-whites and pale ecru work seamlessly on adjacent walls and skirting, maintaining an airy, luminous feel.
• Soft muted olive or sage accents in upholstery or accessories offer an earthy contrast that grounds the lighter timber tones.
• Deep charcoal or matte black details in light fixtures or table bases provide a sharp, modern counterweight to the delicate grain pattern.
