Wallpaper - Les Andelys Vertical, Pewter

Created by Limolida Studio, our Les Andelys Vertical, Pewter wallpaper pairs clean vertical stripes with a woven textile-look texture. The composition uses varying stripe widths in smokey grey, pewter, and soft off-white tones, giving the geometric pattern a structured, architectural rhythm. This balance of tonal neutrals and subtle surface detail creates an understated backdrop that feels modern without being stark. Our mural wallpapers are made-to-measure on PVC-free paper with a subtle physical structure.

In the room

Because the stripe varies in width, this design offers a lively vertical flow that works across both compact spaces and larger, open-plan rooms. In a dining room or living room, we like using it on a prominent accent wall behind a sideboard or dining table, where the vertical lines add a tailored, graphic presence. The orderly structure also makes it well suited to functional areas like a home office, study, or hallway, where a clean and composed visual backdrop helps anchor the room. For smaller rooms such as an entryway, powder room, or dressing room, running the stripes continuously around the walls introduces visual height and rhythm without dominating the space.

Styling it

We recommend letting the clean geometry of the motif lead the interior scheme. The design works naturally alongside minimalist and contemporary furniture with clear, simple silhouettes.

To complement the cooler pewter and smokey grey palette, consider pairing the wallpaper with warm wood furniture, such as natural oak or walnut, to introduce an inviting contrast. Soft upholstery in neutral textiles balances the crispness of the vertical lines, while matte black or brushed metal accents echo the design's functionalist character.

Colour combinations

Our wallpaper features a balanced palette of smokey grey, pewter, and soft off-white. When choosing colours for adjoining walls, woodwork, or cabinetry, you can lean into these neutral tones with chalky whites, pale greys, or deeper charcoal accents to create a cohesive tonal look. If you prefer to introduce contrasting colour through painted furniture or decor, muted earthy tones like olive green, dusty terracotta, or navy blue pair naturally with the grey base.
