Wallpaper - Les Andelys Vertical, Herb

Our Les Andelys Vertical, Herb wallpaper brings a calm, tailored rhythm to the wall with clean vertical stripes in soft sage green set against a crisp white ground. Designed by Limolida Studio, the geometric line motif draws inspiration from heritage patterns and classic Rococo interiors, featuring a subtle woven textile look that softens the precision of the lines. The balanced scale of the stripes offers a quiet, structured feel without dominating the room. Like all our mural wallpapers, this design is made-to-measure to fit your exact wall dimensions and printed on a PVC-free paper with a delicate surface structure that is straightforward to hang.

In the room

The regular vertical lines give this design an architectural quality that works across many different spaces. In a dining room or living room, we love seeing this pattern run across every wall to create a cohesive, enveloping backdrop for entertaining. In a bedroom or guest room, placing it along the wall behind the bed frames the space neatly with a classic, restful feel. The understated balance of green and white also suits more compact rooms like a hallway, powder room, or home office, where the vertical direction helps draw the eye upwards without making smaller areas feel enclosed.

Styling it

The heritage character of the stripes pairs naturally with traditional or country-inspired interiors, yet the simplicity of the lines means it sits just as comfortably in a modern home. We like combining this wallpaper with warm wooden furniture, such as antique pine, warm oak, or painted cabinetry, to complement the natural herb-green tones. For soft furnishings, simple woven fabrics and neutral drapery keep the focus on the pattern without competing with its vertical flow.

Colour combinations

The motif is built around gentle sage green, earthy undertones, and fresh white. When painting adjacent woodwork, skirting boards, or ceilings, a soft off-white or light warm cream creates a seamless transition. For surrounding painted walls or decorative accents, muted olive, warm putty, and light taupe echo the earthy qualities of the green, while a deep forest green or slate tone can add grounded contrast through furniture or trims.
