Wallpaper - Ginko Folly, Olive Parchment

Our Ginko Folly wallpaper in Olive Parchment arranges stylised ginkgo leaves into an elegant, repeating fan pattern. The fine radiating veins bring delicate linework to each leaf, while the arching olive green outlines create a structured, scalloped rhythm against a soft parchment background. What we especially like about this design is how it balances botanical motifs with classic geometric symmetry, giving walls an understated decorative presence. Produced made to measure on PVC-free paper with a subtle surface structure, it introduces pattern in a refined, measured way.

In the room

Because of its balanced repeat and soft contrast, this wallpaper works gracefully across multiple walls rather than overpowering a room. In a bedroom, we see it wrapping the space behind a bed to create a calm, cohesive backdrop. It is equally suited to a dining area or a hallway, where the repeating arches provide visual structure along longer walls or entry spaces. In a home office or study, the rhythmic pattern brings architectural interest without distracting from daily routines.

Styling it

We would pair this pattern with warm, understated furniture to let the delicate linework remain the focus. Mid-tone woods like walnut or warm oak sit naturally alongside the olive and parchment tones. For surrounding accents, soft brushed brass or antique metal fixtures echo the gentle vintage feel of the fan arches. Keep larger upholstery simple, choosing plain woven fabrics in neutral tones rather than competing patterns.

Colour combinations

The wallpaper is built on an earthy olive green outline over a creamy parchment base. When selecting colours for adjacent walls, woodwork, or trim, warm off-whites, soft linen tones, and muted cream shades will keep the interior light and unified. To bring out the depth of the motif, deep moss green or muted olive on surrounding skirting boards or painted cabinetry creates a grounded, tailored accent.
