Wallpaper - Crocker Parchment, Oxblood

Our Crocker Parchment, Oxblood wallpaper brings together a subtle geometric grid with the soft, mottled depth of aged parchment. Rendered in a deep, nuanced oxblood red with gentle shifts in tone, the design features tiled parchment-like squares separated by delicate seam lines. The result is a calm, structured composition that adds rich warmth and architectural rhythm to a room without feeling busy. Printed made-to-measure on PVC-free paper with a subtle physical structure, it provides an understated yet grounded backdrop.

In the room

We see this design working beautifully across an entire living room, dining space, or bedroom where you want an enveloping, warm atmosphere. Because the tonal contrast between the parchment squares is soft and the grid is quiet, the pattern scales effortlessly across large, uninterrupted walls without overwhelming the space. In a dining room or study, wrapping all four walls creates an intimate, library-like depth. Under soft evening lighting, the velvety red and dark wine undertones become even richer, giving the space a cosy, grounded feel.

Styling it

To complement the deep, heritage quality of the oxblood tones, we would balance this wallpaper with natural materials and considered silhouettes.

• Pair the deep red backdrop with dark wood furniture, such as walnut or smoked oak, to lean into a classic, refined mood, or use warm mid-tone timber to keep the room feeling relaxed.
• Introduce tactile upholstery in textured boucle, brushed wool, or heavy linen in warm stone and oat shades to create visual contrast against the structured grid.
• Incorporate aged brass or muted bronze accents in lighting and hardware, which naturally catch the light against the deep wine-toned walls.

Colour combinations

The wallpaper is defined by its deep oxblood red, with subtle variations of burgundy, maroon, and shadowy brown throughout the mottled squares. When choosing paint colours for adjoining walls, woodwork, and ceilings, warm neutrals such as almond, soft taupe, and creamy off-white create a sophisticated contrast. If you prefer a richer, more monochromatic look, deep espresso brown, bitter chocolate, or muted terracotta work seamlessly alongside the red tones.
