Wallpaper - Crocker Parchment, Amber Ochre

Our Crocker Parchment wallpaper in Amber Ochre brings together a quiet grid of rectangular parchment-like panels with subtle, mottled tonal variations across warm amber and deep ochre brown. What we particularly appreciate about this design is the balance between clean architectural structure and weathered visual texture, where soft shading within each panel softens the geometry across the wall. Printed made-to-measure on PVC-free paper with a subtle physical surface structure, this design is simple to hang and introduces rich visual depth without relying on busy illustrative detail.

In the room

In a living room or dining room, we see this working well as an enveloping backdrop across multiple walls or on a feature wall behind low-profile seating. The repeating grid creates a steady rhythm that feels grounded in both compact studies and larger, open-plan spaces. Because the contrast between the panels and their seams is gentle rather than stark, the wallpaper can easily run across larger continuous walls without dominating the room. Under softer evening lighting, the deeper amber and brown undertones take on a particularly warm and atmospheric quality.

Styling it

We would pair this mural wallpaper with streamlined furniture that lets the panelled geometry anchor the space. Pieces with simple silhouettes, whether upholstered in neutral fabrics or crafted from warm wood, sit naturally against the mottled ochre background. To keep the focus on the tonal variation of the wallpaper, we suggest keeping decorative accessories pared back, allowing the quiet structure of the wall to define the character of the interior.

Colour combinations

The design itself is built on warm amber ochre, earthy umber, and muted golden-brown tones. Around it, we would combine this palette with soft warm whites, sandy beiges, or muted stone shades on adjacent walls and woodwork. For a richer, more monochromatic direction, deeper tones such as espresso, bitter chocolate, or muted charcoal on cabinetry and larger furniture pieces echo the darker shading in the panels and create a cohesive, grounded scheme.
