Wallpaper - Crocker Parchment, Verdigris

Our Crocker Parchment, Verdigris wallpaper brings together a structured panel grid with the soft, clouded visual texture of aged parchment. Rendered in deep, patinated verdigris green, the subtle geometric seams create quiet rhythm while tonal shifts within each square provide visual depth across the surface. What we particularly appreciate about this design is how it balances architectural order with an understated, atmospheric mood. Made to measure and completely PVC-free, this is one of our mural wallpapers that introduces rich colour without overwhelming a space.

In the room

Because of its balanced grid composition and deep, saturated palette, this design works exceptionally well across larger uninterrupted walls in a living room, dining room, or study. In an open living area, it establishes a grounded accent wall behind a sofa or low sideboard, where the panelled pattern remains visible above the furniture line.

In a bedroom, we see this working beautifully on the wall behind the headboard, creating an intimate, enveloping backdrop. The dark verdigris tone interacts subtly with natural daylight, revealing soft gradations across the square panels, while evening ambient lighting deepens the overall mood.

Styling it

To complement the structured geometric layout and rich green tones, we suggest pairing this wallpaper with warm wood furniture, such as walnut, teak, or warm oak. The natural warmth of timber creates a balanced contrast against the cool undertones of verdigris.

For lighting and hardware, accents in brushed brass or muted bronze echo the patinated feel of the motif without competing with its surface detail. Keep surrounding textiles relatively simple, using solid-colour upholstery or relaxed woven fabrics in natural cream, charcoal, or muted olive to maintain focus on the wall.

Colour combinations

The wallpaper is defined by its deep verdigris green palette, ranging from dark forest tones to softer, weathered sage highlights along the panel edges.

When selecting paint colours for adjoining walls, woodwork, or ceiling surfaces, soft off-whites with warm undertones help lift the room and prevent the darker palette from feeling heavy. If you prefer a moodier, tonal scheme, deep moss greens, charcoal, or slate grey work naturally alongside it. For subtle accent pieces or upholstery, warm ochre, muted mustard, or deep tan leather provide an appealing contrast to the cool green base.
