Wallpaper - Shape Shifter, Sage

Our Shape Shifter, Sage wallpaper brings together layered abstract organic shapes and painterly brushstrokes across a gentle palette of muted sage green, soft taupe, pale celadon, and warm sand. Designed by Irina Chikati, the composition balances broad translucent colour planes with sweeping gestural marks to establish a fluid, collage-inspired rhythm across the wall. Printed made-to-measure on PVC-free paper with a subtle physical structure, our wall murals are straightforward to hang and sized to match your exact wall dimensions.

In the room

We see this design working naturally across a living room, dining room, or bedroom where its generous, open composition has space to unfold. Because the pattern relies on large, softly rounded shapes rather than a dense repeating motif, it sits comfortably on a primary wall behind a low sofa or headboard without overwhelming the room. In a home office or hallway, the painted abstract character provides an artistic backdrop that enlivens smaller wall sections while maintaining a calm, orderly feel.

Styling it

To complement the organic geometry and painted character of our wallpaper, we would pair it with furniture that has clean, contemporary lines. Rounded silhouettes in upholstered seating echo the curved shapes within the motif, especially in textured neutral fabrics like bouclé or woven linen. For tables and storage pieces, light wood tones such as ash or pale oak tie in with the warm sand and beige areas. Incorporating understated accents in brushed metal or unglazed ceramics adds subtle material contrast while keeping the overall room scheme balanced.

Colour combinations

Our wallpaper features a core palette of sage green, pale celadon, soft taupe, and creamy neutral tones. For adjacent painted walls and woodwork, warm off-whites or soft greige provide a clean, quiet backdrop that lets the green shapes stand out. If you prefer a richer setting, consider pulling from the deeper taupe or earthy moss notes within the design for trim or larger pieces of furniture. Warm ochre, dry terracotta, or deep forest green also work well as accent colours in cushions and accessories.
