Wallpaper - Shape Shifter, Pastel Pop

Our Shape Shifter, Pastel Pop wallpaper brings together layered organic shapes and gestural painterly marks in a gentle palette of powder blue, soft mint, dusty rose, lilac, and warm butter yellow. Designed by Irina Chikati, the abstract collage composition balances large rounded colour fields with translucent washes and fine textured strokes, creating a fluid artistic rhythm across the wall. Printed as a made-to-measure design on PVC-free paper with a subtle physical paper structure, this mural wallpaper is straightforward to hang and adds an expressive, creative accent to the home.

In the room

We see this design working especially well in spaces designed for play and imagination. In a nursery, toddler room, or children's bedroom, the soft pastel palette introduces colour and visual curiosity without feeling chaotic. The composition also works beautifully in a dedicated playroom, where the playful shapes provide an uplifting backdrop along a primary activity wall. Because the contrast across the watercolour-like layers is gentle, our wallpaper sits comfortably on a wider uninterrupted wall behind a bed or low shelving, and it adapts equally well to more compact wall sections.

Styling it

Because the artwork has a lively geometric rhythm, we suggest surrounding it with furniture that features simple, clean lines. Light timber, such as natural ash or birch, complements the warm pastel tones and keeps the space feeling bright and grounded. Plain painted furniture in off-white or muted putty lets the abstract forms carry the room's visual focus, while unpatterned textiles in soft cream or pale grey ensure the surrounding decor remains calm and cohesive.

Colour combinations

The design combines powder blue, pale mint green, lilac, muted rose, and warm yellow against an off-white ground. When selecting paint for adjoining walls or woodwork, a soft warm white or light chalky neutral creates a natural connection to the wallpaper's background. If you prefer a more tonal look, pulling out the dusty rose or gentle powder blue for painted accents or larger fabric pieces ties the room scheme together effortlessly.
