Wallpaper - Molten Muse, Night Lights

Our Molten Muse, Night Lights wallpaper brings together sharp geometric forms and fluid, luminous colour gradients. Designed by Irina Chikati, abstract circular, oval, and rectangular silhouettes float over vertical, molten waves of warm coral, amber, and dusky blue, anchored by deep slate tones. The layered composition balances solid blocks with translucent overlays to create a striking sense of depth. Made to measure for your exact wall dimensions, our PVC-free wallpapers are easy to hang and printed on paper featuring a subtle physical surface structure.

In the room

We see this design working particularly well on a feature wall in a living room, creative home office, or bedroom. Because the motif carries noticeable visual movement and a confident compositional scale, giving it a wider, uninterrupted wall allows the balance of large circles and geometric planes to unfold naturally.

In a living room, placing the design behind a low-profile sofa establishes a strong focal point while drawing the eye upward through the rising columns of colour. In a dining space or study, the deeper slate tones ground the lower half of the wall, creating an intimate, tailored feel. Where generous daylight enters the room, the subtler transitions across the blue and pastel streaks become clearer, while warm evening lamplight enhances the glowing amber and coral sections.

Styling it

Because our design carries significant graphic presence, we would keep surrounding furniture relatively understated and contemporary. Pieces with clean silhouettes and minimal ornamentation let the wallpaper take centre stage without competing for visual attention.

For furniture finishes, matte charcoal surfaces or dark timber pair naturally with the deeper geometric blocks at the base of the design. When it comes to upholstery and rugs, smooth, unpatterned fabrics in neutral grey or muted navy provide a calm counterweight to the fluid lines on the wall. Simple decorative accents in smoked glass or matte ceramics echo the experimental character of the artwork while keeping the overall room scheme balanced.

Colour combinations

The palette in our wallpaper centres on a contrast between cool slate greys and radiant warm gradients, including coral red, amber yellow, dusty violet, and muted blue.

When selecting paint colours for adjoining walls and trim, a soft off-white or light warm grey creates a crisp, balanced backdrop. If you prefer a moodier, more enveloping interior, pulling out the deep slate blue or dark charcoal from the lower forms of the mural works well on adjacent surfaces. For smaller decorative accents like cushions or ceramics, subtle hints of terracotta or muted apricot tie back into the glowing light within the artwork.
