Wallpaper - Molten Muse, Suede

Our Molten Muse, Suede wallpaper brings together fluid, liquid-like vertical ripples and crisp geometric silhouettes in warm taupe, pale beige, soft sand, and muted slate undertones. Overlapping circles, clean rectangles, and vertical oval forms sit across an undulating, softly draped background to create a balanced abstract composition with architectural depth. Designed by Irina Chikati, each design is made-to-measure on PVC-free paper with a subtle physical paper structure, offering an understated statement piece for modern living spaces.

In the room

We see this wall mural working particularly well on a wide, uninterrupted wall where the full geometric composition and flowing background have room to unfold. In a living room, it creates a serene feature wall behind a low-profile sofa, allowing the upper circular elements and vertical pillars to draw the eye upward without interruption. In a bedroom, placing this design behind the headboard anchors the room in warm neutral tones while maintaining a calm, restful feel. The balanced geometry also makes it well suited to a dining room or a dedicated home office, where the collage-like arrangement brings graphic interest to the wall without feeling visually cluttered.

Styling it

The balanced geometry and warm neutral palette lend themselves naturally to contemporary, minimalist, and organic modern interiors. We would pair our wallpaper with low, streamlined furniture that echoes the clean horizontal and vertical lines in the motif, such as a low sideboard or low-profile seating.

Warm, natural wood finishes like light ash, bleached oak, or warm oak complement the suede and taupe hues without competing for attention. For larger upholstered pieces, textured fabrics in cream, oatmeal, or pale stone bring a soft, tactile layer to the room that balances the flat geometric planes of the design.

Colour combinations

The design itself is built around warm suede beige, soft sand, muted taupe, and pale greyish highlights within the shadowed ripples.

To create a balanced interior, we suggest carrying soft off-white, warm linen, or pale limestone tones onto adjacent painted walls and woodwork. For major cabinetry, trim, or accent furniture, deeper charcoal, espresso, or warm slate brown will ground the room and echo the darker tonal accents found within the fluid background. If you want to introduce subtle accent colours through smaller accessories, muted olive or dusty terracotta tones pair naturally with the warm, earthy base.
