Wallpaper - Grain Clad, Teal

Our Grain Clad, Teal wallpaper brings the visual rhythm of vertical timber panelling into a rich, deep blue-green palette. What we particularly appreciate about this design is the quiet balance between organic grain movement and the steady cadence of vertical cladding planks. The deep teal shade gives the wood grain pattern an atmospheric depth, shifting subtly between dark spruce and muted petrol tones across the surface. Produced made-to-measure to your exact wall dimensions, this PVC-free wallpaper introduces grounded colour and refined visual texture without overpowering your space.

In the room

In a living room or bedroom, we would place this design behind a sofa or as a backdrop to a headboard, where the dark teal hue creates an enveloping, settled atmosphere. The vertical wood grain structure lends a sense of height to walls, making it particularly effective in rooms with standard or lower ceilings. Because the motif is structured yet tonally unified, it works equally well across an uninterrupted feature wall or wrapped around an entire dining room or study for an immersive, moody interior. In spaces with generous natural light, the subtle grain details within the darker teal boards become more visible throughout the day.

Styling it

To complement the dark, saturated character of this wallpaper, we would pair it with warm, natural elements that bring soft contrast to the space. Furniture in warm timber tones such as walnut, teak, or honeyed oak breaks up the cool depth of teal and reinforces the organic character of the grain. For upholstery and textiles, we suggest nubby bouclés, washed linens, or brushed wool in warm off-white, oat, or camel. Brushed brass or antique bronze hardware and lighting introduce a gentle warm gleam that stands out handsomely against the dark panelling motif.

Colour combinations

The palette in our design centres on deep teal, charcoal undertones, and muted spruce green. When choosing colours for surrounding walls, woodwork, and ceilings, softer neutrals like muted stone, warm grey, or creamy off-white prevent the room from feeling stark. If you prefer a richer, tone-on-tone scheme, pairing this design with dark moss green, dusty navy, or deep slate painted trim will enhance its tailored look. For subtle accents, muted terracotta, ochre, or burnt rust create an appealing warm contrast against the cool teal background.
