Wallpaper - Crocker Parchment, Faded Delft

Our Crocker Parchment, Faded Delft wallpaper brings together a soft, weathered parchment grid with a muted delft blue palette. What we particularly appreciate about this design is the understated tonal variation across each panelled square, giving the surface a gentle, mottled depth without overwhelming the room with sharp contrast. The subtle grid structure creates a calm, architectural rhythm across the wall, making it a versatile choice for larger living areas or restful bedrooms. Like all our wallpapers, it is made-to-measure to your exact wall dimensions and printed on PVC-free paper with a subtle surface structure.

In the room

We see this design working especially well across wider, uninterrupted wall areas where the tiled parchment repeat can establish its quiet cadence. In a living room or behind a bed in a master bedroom, the softened blue tones provide depth while remaining gentle on the eye. Because the contrast between the grid lines and the washed panels is relatively low, it also sits comfortably on multiple walls in a study, dining room or hallway without feeling busy or confined.

In rooms with generous daylight, the subtle shifts between dusty blue, slate and pale grey-blue become more visible, catching natural shifts throughout the day. Under warmer evening lighting, the cooler tones take on a cosy, muted character that recedes nicely behind your main furniture pieces.

Styling it

When styling around this wallpaper, we like to balance its cool, washed blue tones with warmer natural materials. Furniture in warm timber or clean painted finishes creates an appealing visual warmth against the grid backdrop.

To keep the room grounded, we suggest pairing the wall with simple, unpatterned upholstery in chalky neutrals, charcoal or muted navy. Clean-lined silhouettes work particularly well here, as they echo the quiet geometry of the parchment squares without competing with the mottled surface variation.

Colour combinations

The palette of our wallpaper is anchored by faded delft blue, muted slate and soft grey-blue undertones. When choosing colours for surrounding walls, woodwork or larger textiles, we like working with off-white, soft stone, deep indigo or warm taupe. These tones respect the quiet atmosphere of the blue while giving surrounding architectural details a balanced, tailored feel.
