Wallpaper - Scintilla, Sea Glass

Our Scintilla, Sea Glass wallpaper brings together soft, horizontal waves of muted celadon and pale sea-glass green, overlaid with delicate stippled patterning and fine brush-like visual textures. What we particularly like about this design is its gentle, cloud-like fluidity, where subtle shifts between pale sage and silvery green create depth without high contrast. Designed by Wallism Studio, this made-to-measure, PVC-free wallpaper offers an understated surface movement that feels calm and atmospheric across walls of any scale.

In the room

Because the contrast is gentle and the horizontal motion flows continuously, we see this working beautifully across an entire bedroom or living room rather than being restricted to a single accent wall. On larger uninterrupted walls, the subtle drift of the stippled pattern creates a soft, layered backdrop that feels quiet rather than flat. In a guest room, dining space, or quiet home office, the muted green-grey tones settle easily behind both low and taller furniture, offering a refined wash of color that never competes with everyday living.

In spaces with generous natural daylight, the delicate tonal variations between the pale sea glass and sage green become especially apparent, revealing the fine visual texture within the pattern.

Styling it

We suggest pairing this design with simple, considered furnishings that echo its understated, organic mood. Clean-lined contemporary furniture or light mid-century silhouettes allow the flowing horizontal pattern to remain the quiet focal point of the room.

Lighter woods such as pale oak or natural ash pair naturally with the soft green tones, maintaining an open, airy feel. For textiles, we would choose quiet, plain fabrics in unbleached linen tones, warm off-white, or muted stone to keep the overall atmosphere cohesive and relaxed. Matte black accents or subtle brushed metal details can be used sparingly to introduce a grounding contrast against the soft backdrop.

Colour combinations

The design itself features soft sea glass green, muted sage, silvery grey-green, and pale celadon. When decorating around it, we like combining these tones with chalky off-whites, warm alabaster, or soft mineral greys for adjacent woodwork and painted surfaces.

If you prefer a deeper, more grounded palette, deep slate green, muted charcoal, or warm ochre accents in upholstery or decorative elements create a handsome, balanced contrast that complements the cooler undertones of the wallpaper.
