Wallpaper - Scintilla, Cloudstone

Our Scintilla, Cloudstone wallpaper brings a delicate, flowing movement to the wall with soft, mineral-inspired waves and fine stippled detailing. Designed by Wallism Studio, the motif works across subtle greyscale tones, layering pale cloud grey and cool stone shades with micro-dot shading that mimics gentle drifting mist or organic rock veining. The low contrast and seamless horizontal sweep give the pattern an understated, airy depth rather than a rigid repeat. Made-to-measure on our PVC-free paper with a subtle surface structure, it offers a sophisticated, calming backdrop for modern interiors.

In the room

Because of its gentle tonal shifts and organic, horizontal drift, we see this wallpaper working beautifully across full rooms as well as single accent walls. In a living room or bedroom, the soft grey composition wraps the space without feeling heavy or visually cluttered, allowing natural daylight to highlight the delicate stippled detail.

The low-contrast pattern also makes it exceptionally versatile for spaces with multiple architectural features, such as hallways or open-plan areas broken up by doorways and windows. Where a high-contrast graphic might feel interrupted by door frames, Scintilla flows naturally across both wide uninterrupted spans and narrower wall sections.

Styling it

We recommend pairing this design with clean-lined contemporary furniture and quiet, tactile textures that echo its understated feel. Natural light oak, bleached ash, or crisp painted cabinetry keep the atmosphere bright and open, while matte black light fittings or slender metal frames can provide a grounded graphic contrast against the soft grey background.

For textiles, simple woven linens, wool throws, and neutral boucle fabrics in ivory, oatmeal, or slate grey maintain an elegant, cohesive room scheme without competing with the wallpaper's subtle movement.

Colour combinations

The wallpaper itself is composed of soft cloud greys, chalky off-whites, and cool mid-grey stippling.

To build a harmonious palette around it, we suggest pairing it with clean off-white or soft pale grey woodwork and ceilings for a crisp, seamless transition. If you prefer more warmth, muted taupe, warm beige, and natural timber tones balance the cooler undertones of the grey. For a moodier, more contemporary look, deep charcoal, ink blue, or rich forest green on adjoining walls or major upholstery create a striking, tailored contrast.
