Wallpaper - Spectrum Blocks, Mink

Our Spectrum Blocks wallpaper in Mink brings together a mosaic-like grid of rectangles and squares, composed in nuanced shades of grey, muted neutral tones, and subtle contrasts. Each block varies in scale and placement, giving the geometric pattern an architectural balance rather than a rigid grid. The visual texture echoes the character of smooth plaster and structured tiling, lending depth to the wall without overpowering the room. Like all our wallpapers, this design is made-to-measure to your exact wall dimensions on PVC-free paper with a subtle surface texture.

In the room

We see this design working particularly well across a wider living room wall or behind a low bed in a bedroom, where the varying block proportions have space to unfold naturally. Because the geometric rhythm is balanced and orderly, it can anchor a large open-plan dining area or provide an engaging backdrop for a home office or study without becoming visually distracting. In a hallway or entryway, the structured layout creates an immediate sense of modern architectural clarity as you walk past.

Styling it

The clean geometry and subtle surface feel make this design a natural match for contemporary, minimalist, or functionalist spaces. To keep the focus on the pattern, we suggest pairing it with furniture that has simple silhouettes and uncluttered profiles.

• Choose furniture with low, clean profiles, such as a low-slung sofa or an unadorned dining table, allowing the full vertical rhythm of the blocks to remain visible.
• Pair the neutral tones with dark charcoal frames, matte black metal accents, or slim lighting fixtures that echo the linear structure of the grid.
• Introduce natural, tactile fabrics like woven upholstery or soft wool throws to add gentle contrast against the smooth, architectural look of the pattern.

Colour combinations

The palette in our design centres on soft mink greys, off-whites, and quiet graphite accents. To complement these tones, we recommend surrounding the wallpaper with soft off-white or light pebble grey paint on adjacent walls and woodwork. If you want a more dramatic mood, deep charcoal or slate grey paint on adjacent trims and doors creates a crisp, tailored frame around the motif.
