Wallpaper - Spectrum Blocks, Earth Dust

Our Spectrum Blocks wallpaper brings together an interlocking mosaic of geometric rectangles and squares in muted tones of taupe, warm grey, beige, and soft white. The abstract composition uses subtle tonal shading across each block to create a balanced sense of depth and structured movement across the surface. It gives the visual impression of modern architectural tiling while keeping an understated, matte character. Made to measure on our PVC-free paper with a subtle physical surface structure, this design is simple to hang and introduces calm, modernist geometry to any wall.

In the room

In an open-plan living room or dining room, we like using this design across a wide, uninterrupted wall where the full mosaic composition can unfold without interruption. The neutral palette keeps the large-scale geometric grid from feeling busy, making it equally effective as a quiet backdrop behind a low sofa or a dining table. In a bedroom, placing our mural wallpapers behind the headboard grounds the space with soft architectural structure. The orderly rhythm of the squares and rectangles also suits more transitional spaces, such as a hallway, home office, or study, where the clean lines bring a sense of purpose and organisation.

Styling it

We find this geometric pattern pairs naturally with mid-century modern and contemporary minimalist interiors. To complement the structured shapes of the wall murals, introduce furniture with soft curves or rounded profiles, like an arched mirror, an oval dining table, or a curved armchair.

Keep surrounding materials simple and authentic. Warm natural timber, such as teak, walnut, or smoked oak, balances the cooler grey notes in the pattern, while brushed metal hardware in bronze or matte black echoes the architectural grid without competing for attention.

Colour combinations

The design features a foundation of earthy taupe, stone beige, soft white, and muted grey blocks. For adjacent painted walls and woodwork, we recommend continuing these soft neutral directions. Chalky off-whites and pale greige create a seamless, light-filled flow throughout the room, while a deeper mushroom or warm charcoal on skirting boards or doors can frame the wall with crisp definition. For upholstered furniture and larger rugs, warm sandy tones, muted clay, or oatmeal fabrics harmonise effortlessly with the palette.
