Wallpaper - Spectrum Blocks, Mauve

Our Spectrum Blocks, Mauve wallpaper brings together an abstract arrangement of interlocking squares and rectangles in a balanced palette of mauve, cool grey, and deep black. Designed by Wallism Studio, this modernist composition draws on clean geometric structure, using sharp lines and varied block proportions to create a calm, orderly rhythm across the wall. The gentle mauve tones introduce subtle warmth to the design, while the neutral grey and solid black shapes keep the overall look grounded and architectural. Produced made-to-measure on PVC-free paper with a subtle paper structure, our wallpaper is designed to be straightforward to hang and brings a refined graphic presence to contemporary spaces.

In the room

Because the motif relies on a clear geometric rhythm, we find this design works exceptionally well as a focal feature wall in a living room or behind a bed in the bedroom. In a home office or study, the structured lines create a focused, organized backdrop that feels purposeful without dominating the room. The repeat is scaled to maintain clarity even when seen from across a larger dining area, while in a hallway or entryway, the interlocking forms provide immediate visual interest on narrower wall sections.

Styling it

We recommend pairing this geometric design with furniture that echoes its clean, modernist sensibility. Low-profile silhouettes and minimalist furniture with understated profiles keep the room feeling balanced, allowing the wall murals to remain the primary visual statement.

For surrounding materials, smooth painted surfaces and understated matte finishes complement the sharp lines of the design. When incorporating accents, consider subtle black metal framing or architectural light fixtures to pick up on the deep black elements within the mural wallpapers.

Colour combinations

The wallpaper is composed around soft mauve, tonal grey, crisp off-white, and defined black shapes. To create a cohesive interior, we suggest pulling the muted grey tones onto adjacent walls and woodwork for a seamless, architectural look. For a softer and warmer mood, pairing the design with dusty rose, pale mauve, or chalky neutral paint on surrounding surfaces highlights the subtle blush tones of the pattern.
