Wallpaper - Spectrum Blocks, Pacific

Our Spectrum Blocks, Pacific wallpaper brings together interlocking rectangles and squares in a structured abstract composition of steel blue, cool grey, and soft white tones. Varied block dimensions create a considered visual rhythm across the surface, moving from wider solid forms to narrower geometric segments that give the design subtle architectural weight. Gentle tonal gradients within individual shapes lend depth to the pattern without relying on heavy contrast, resulting in a balanced, modernist look. Printed made-to-measure on PVC-free paper with a subtle surface structure, this design brings clean graphic character to interior spaces.

In the room

We find this geometric composition works exceptionally well on a main wall in a living room or study, where the interlocking forms can be appreciated across a wider unbroken expanse. The steel blue and grey palette offers a calm, grounding presence that sits naturally behind a sofa or along the back wall of a dedicated home office. In a hallway or entryway, the vertical and horizontal alignment of the blocks introduces clear graphic structure to transitional areas that often lack distinct architectural detail.

For dining rooms and bedrooms, we would consider placing this mural wallpaper on a feature wall where the pattern can set the tone for the space without feeling overwhelming. The structured, tile-inspired grid lends itself particularly well to rooms with balanced daylight, which allows the softer transitions between the grey and blue segments to stand out clearly.

Styling it

To complement the modernist character of our design, we recommend keeping surrounding furniture relatively streamlined and uncluttered. Clean-lined mid-century or contemporary silhouettes in warm woods such as walnut or teak provide an appealing organic contrast to the cooler geometric grid on the wall.

When introducing decorative accents, brushed bronze or matte black metal finishes work naturally alongside the architectural lines of the pattern. Upholstery and soft furnishings in neutral textured fabrics, such as off-white or charcoal wool, help ground the space while allowing the wallpaper to remain the primary visual focus.

Colour combinations

The design centres on steel blue, slate grey, and off-white tones arranged in a cool-toned palette. To build a cohesive room around our wallpaper, we suggest pairing adjacent walls with soft grey-tinted whites or muted stone hues that pick up the lighter elements in the pattern. For a richer, more tailored atmosphere, carrying a deep navy or dark slate onto surrounding woodwork, skirting boards, or built-in cabinetry creates a strong, deliberate frame for the mural.
