Wallpaper - Kasumi Garden, Indigo Haze

Designed by Marta Cortese, our Kasumi Garden, Indigo Haze wallpaper captures a lush botanical landscape set against a layered, dusky blue atmosphere. Graceful bamboo shoots rise towards soft, stylised clouds, while the foreground blooms with a dense tapestry of white blossoms, iris flowers, and delicate pops of coral red, dusty rose, and cornflower blue. A subtle weathered texture in the background gives the scene depth and painterly character, grounding the intricate floral linework. Like all Wallism mural wallpapers, this design is made-to-measure to your exact wall dimensions and printed on PVC-free paper with a subtle surface structure.

In the room

Because the composition builds vertically from a dense floral foreground to airy bamboo stalks and drifting clouds, we find this wall mural works exceptionally well on a main feature wall. It creates a serene focal point behind a bed in a master bedroom or along an uninterrupted wall in a living room. The scenic layout draws the eye upward, making it a natural choice for rooms where you want to add a sense of height and open space. In a dining room or quiet study, giving the wallpaper a wide, clear wall allows the full garden panorama and delicate botanicals to be appreciated without disruption.

Styling it

To let the intricate floral details take centre stage, we suggest keeping surrounding furniture clean-lined and understated.

• Pair the deep blue backdrop with light oak, bleached ash, or painted white furniture to balance the darker base notes.
• Introduce natural linen or wool textiles in soft ivory, stone, or muted blue to echo the calm, garden-inspired mood.
• Keep wall decor minimal on adjacent walls, allowing the mural's painterly composition to remain the defining visual element.

Colour combinations

Our wallpaper is anchored by a smoky indigo blue background, complemented by crisp white and cream floral petals, muted sage and olive green foliage, and warm touches of coral, peach, and soft sky blue. On adjacent painted walls, we recommend soft off-whites, warm greys, or muted stony tones that let the blue backdrop stand out comfortably. If you prefer a richer, more enveloping feel, drawing out a deep slate blue or a dark dusty teal on woodwork or surrounding walls creates a seamless, sophisticated palette.
