Wallpaper - Kasumi Garden, Persimmon

Designed by Marta Cortese, our Kasumi Garden, Persimmon wallpaper brings an evocative botanical scene to life across a deep, warm persimmon backdrop. Delicate chrysanthemums, peonies, and graceful lilies cluster along the lower landscape, while slender bamboo stems rise toward stylized clouds drifting in the upper sky. The contrast between luminous cream blossoms, muted charcoal ground elements, and rich terracotta tones gives this design an enchanting visual rhythm. Produced made-to-measure on PVC-free paper with a subtle paper structure, our mural wallpapers bring distinct artistic character to any interior.

In the room

Because the botanical detail is concentrated across the lower and middle sections with an open, misty sky above, we find this wallpaper works exceptionally well on continuous walls where the vertical progression can unfold naturally. In a dining room or living room, placing this design behind lower seating or a sideboard allows the blooming garden elements to remain visible while the darker upper tones envelope the room. For a bedroom, framing the headboard against the lower floral layer creates a grounded, comforting backdrop. In spaces with tall ceilings, the rising bamboo stalks draw the eye upward, accentuating the vertical height of the room.

Styling it

When styling around this design, we suggest balancing the intricate floral details with furniture featuring clean, calm profiles and unadorned surfaces.

Mid-toned or dark woods such as walnut harmonise naturally with the rich persimmon background, reinforcing the warmth of the palette. For surrounding textiles, consider smooth matte fabrics in unbleached linen, warm stone, or muted cream to mirror the delicate flower petals without competing with the detailed pattern. Restrained ceramic accents or low-sheen metal details in aged bronze complement the organic, heritage feel of the mural without distracting from the artwork.

Colour combinations

The wallpaper is built around a warm palette of burnt persimmon, terracotta, and soft charcoal, balanced by creamy whites, blush accents, and warm ochre greens in the botanical elements.

For adjacent walls and woodwork, we recommend pulling the softest cream or warm oat tones from the petals to keep the surrounding space bright and cohesive. If you prefer a richer, more enveloping feel, a deep terracotta or warm chestnut paint on adjoining surfaces will echo the background tone seamlessly. For accent elements, muted charcoal or soft dusty rose offers a sophisticated contrast that ties back into the floral composition.
