Wallpaper - Kasumi Garden, Forest Moss

Designed by Marta Cortese, our Kasumi Garden, Forest Moss wallpaper presents an atmospheric landscape of blossoming garden flowers, delicate bamboo stems, and stylised cloud banks set against a deep mossy green backdrop. The botanical motif builds from a dense floral foreground into airy bamboo foliage reaching toward a calm, misty upper section. Soft cream, pale blush, and butter-toned petals bring a warm luminescence to the dark olive and forest tones underneath. Produced as a made-to-measure, PVC-free wall mural, this design features a subtle structure in the wallpaper paper and is straightforward to hang in any home.

In the room

The scenic composition of this mural wallpaper works exceptionally well across a wide, uninterrupted feature wall where the full botanical scenery can unfold naturally. In a bedroom, we particularly like placing it behind a low headboard so the garden blooms sit comfortably at eye level while the taller bamboo stems and misty sky fill the upper wall. The design also makes an inviting focal point in a dining room or living room, grounding the space with its rich forest tones without overwhelming the surrounding architecture.

Because the visual weight sits predominantly in the lower two-thirds of the mural, the artwork pairs effortlessly with low-profile furniture that allows the intricate floral layers to remain visible. In rooms with generous natural daylight, the subtle tonal contrasts within the dark green backdrop and soft flower petals become especially clear and nuanced.

Styling it

To complement the painterly elegance of this wallpaper, we recommend keeping surrounding furniture and decorative accents relatively simple and grounded.

• Choose natural warm wood finishes, such as walnut, teak, or warm-toned oak, which echo the organic botanical elements without competing with the intricate floral detail.
• Incorporate neutral upholstery in soft cream, ecru, or muted charcoal to pick up the floral tones and create a balanced, cohesive look throughout the space.
• Opt for understated accents in antiqued brass or blackened metal to add subtle definition that aligns with the mural's classic aesthetic.

Colour combinations

Our Kasumi Garden, Forest Moss wallpaper centres on deep forest green, dark olive, and charcoal ground tones, balanced by cream, soft ivory, and gentle blush in the botanical blossoms. To harmonise with the mural, consider painting adjacent walls in a muted off-white, soft putty, or a gentle taupe. For a moodier, more immersive interior, a deep olive or slate grey on surrounding woodwork and skirting boards creates a seamless transition that enhances the depth of our wallpapers.
