Wallpaper - Ginkgo Folia, Porcini

Our Ginkgo Folia, Porcini wallpaper features a dense, rhythmic canopy of fan-shaped ginkgo leaves, layered in soft porcini and warm oat tones. Fine, radiating vein line work brings gentle movement to each leaf, creating an Art Deco-inspired botanical repeat with a calm visual character. The subtle contrast between the light leaf blades and warmer outlines gives the pattern depth without overwhelming a room. Printed to your specific wall dimensions on PVC-free paper with a subtle structure, this design brings an understated warmth and refined organic structure to living spaces.

In the room

Because the repeat is continuous and relatively low in contrast, we see this working beautifully across an entire bedroom or living room rather than being restricted to a single accent wall. The delicate fans overlap in a scalloped rhythm that feels enveloping across all four walls, softening hard architectural lines while keeping the overall atmosphere quiet and grounded.

In a hallway, dining area, or home office, the medium-scale botanical motif adds visual texture without competing with key furniture pieces. It sits comfortably behind a low-backed sofa, an upholstered bedhead, or open shelving, where the fine linework remains interesting up close and melts into a gentle, cohesive tone across the wider room.

Styling it

To complement the warm, muted mushroom tones of the design, we would lean towards honest, tactile materials and understated silhouettes.

• Pair with warm, pale timbers such as natural ash, bleached oak, or light birch to enhance the organic warmth of the foliage without adding heavy dark contrasts.
• Introduce textured upholstery and drapery in unbleached linen, boucle, or soft wool to echo the matte, layered feel of the botanical pattern.
• Choose low-sheen metal accents, such as brushed brass, antique bronze, or matte cream fixtures, to subtly highlight the Art Deco rhythm of the fan shapes.

Colour combinations

The design itself is built on a nuanced palette of porcini mushroom, warm beige, soft stone, and delicate oatmeal. Because the base tones are neutral and earthy, surrounding colours should maintain that quiet balance.

We suggest pairing this wallpaper with soft, warm whites and pale plaster shades on surrounding woodwork and ceilings to keep the space feeling light and expansive. If you want to introduce subtle contrast, muted taupe, deep fawn, or chalky olive tones on trim or cabinetry will ground the room effortlessly while letting the intricate foliage remain the quiet focal point.
