Wallpaper - Ginkgo Folia, Ivory

Our Ginkgo Folia, Ivory wallpaper brings together layered, fan-shaped ginkgo leaves rendered in delicate line work across a warm, neutral backdrop. What we particularly like about this design is the gentle scalloped rhythm created by the overlapping foliage, giving the wall a soft, flowing structure without feeling rigid. Tonal shifts of soft ivory, pale beige, and warm cream provide subtle depth between foreground and background leaves. Like all our wallpapers, this design is made-to-measure to fit your room dimensions and printed on PVC-free paper with a subtle paper structure.

In the room

Because of the continuous, rhythmic repeat and gentle tone-on-tone contrast, we find this wallpaper works naturally across several walls or as an understated accent wall. In a bedroom, placing it behind the headboard creates an enveloping, calm backdrop where the fine vein details of the leaves can be appreciated up close. It is equally suited to a living room, dining area, or home office where you want pattern and movement without visual clutter. The organic fans repeat comfortably around doorways and windows, making it an adaptable choice for both compact spaces and larger open-plan rooms.

Styling it

We would balance the rhythmic curves of the ginkgo fans with clean lines and warm, natural materials. Light woods such as bleached oak or ash complement the pale ivory ground, while darker walnut accents can introduce a grounded contrast that highlights the fine line illustration.

Textiles in slubbed linens, unbleached cotton, or woven bouclé enhance the soft character of the motif. For metals and hardware, warm brushed brass or muted antique bronze harmonise naturally with the warm undertones of the cream and beige palette.

Colour combinations

The design itself is built on a quiet foundation of ivory, linen beige, and warm cream. To complement these tones on adjacent walls or painted woodwork, we suggest warm off-whites, soft stone neutrals, or pale muted taupe. If you want to introduce a touch of colour alongside the wallpaper, muted earth tones such as warm terracotta, soft olive, or deep forest green create an appealing balance against the neutral ginkgo pattern.
