Wallpaper - Ginkgo Folia, Petal Pink

Our Ginkgo Folia in Petal Pink brings together layered fan-shaped ginkgo leaves with delicate, radiating vein linework. We designed the repeat to flow in gentle overlapping tiers, creating a rhythmic scallop effect that feels both botanical and subtly geometric. The soft dusty pink tones and low tonal contrast give the motif an understated, elegant presence on the wall rather than a loud graphic punch. Like all our wallpapers, this design is made-to-measure to fit your room dimensions and printed on PVC-free paper with a subtle surface structure.

In the room

We see this wallpaper working beautifully in a bedroom, guest room, or calm living space where you want decorative interest without overwhelming visual noise. The repeating ginkgo fans have a continuous, organic flow that suits an entire room just as comfortably as a dedicated accent wall behind a headboard or sofa. Because the tonal contrast remains soft, the pattern reads as a warm, textured backdrop from a distance, revealing its fine line detail as you move closer. In a hallway or dressing room with compact proportions, the gentle upward arc of the leaves helps draw the eye across the wall smoothly.

Styling it

We would pair this pattern with simple, thoughtful furniture to let the delicate linework remain the focus. Clean-lined pieces in warm mid-toned wood or painted off-white finishes complement the soft pink backdrop without competing for attention.

To ground the romantic character of the botanical motif, consider introducing understated metal details in antique brass or brushed bronze through lighting and hardware. For soft furnishings, smooth neutral textiles in off-white, oat, or muted rose allow the wallpaper to provide the main decorative rhythm in the space.

Colour combinations

The design centres on soft petal pink and muted blush tones, outlined with slightly deeper rose-tinted linework. Around the room, we suggest combining this with warm off-white or soft alabaster on surrounding walls, skirting, and ceilings to keep the palette light and cohesive. For a deeper, more grounded contrast, muted plum, warm taupe, or soft grey-brown accents on larger upholstery or painted joinery bring out the subtle depth in the shadowed areas of the leaves.
