Wallpaper - Ginkgo Folia, Moonstone

Our Ginkgo Folia, Moonstone wallpaper brings together overlapping fan-shaped ginkgo leaves in an intricate, layered composition. Illustrated with fine radiating line work, each leaf adds gentle rhythmic texture across the surface. The soft grey and moonstone palette keeps the visual contrast low, allowing the organic pattern to create interest without overwhelming the room. Made-to-measure on PVC-free paper with a subtle physical structure, this design brings a balanced, decorative botanical touch to interior walls.

In the room

Because of its delicate tonal scale and continuous repeat, we see this design working beautifully across an entire bedroom or living room. The subtle shift between light grey tones means the pattern feels cohesive across larger wall areas, providing visual interest without demanding heavy contrast from the rest of the space. In a hallway or home office, it creates an elegant backdrop that works just as well behind open shelving or alongside clean architectural doorways. The fine leaf veins remain clear and crisp in generous daylight, while softer evening lamplight enhances the calm, layered feel of the foliage.

Styling it

We like pairing this wallpaper with furnishings that have simple silhouettes and tactile qualities. Light-toned timbers or painted joinery in soft neutral tones allow the botanical details to remain the focus. For textiles, understated weaves in wool or linen help echo the natural feel of the leaf motif. Matte black or brushed metal accents in lighting or hardware can also introduce a clean, defined outline that complements the fine linework within the pattern.

Colour combinations

The motif is built around soft grey, off-white, and cool moonstone tones. To create a cohesive interior, we suggest combining this wallpaper with adjacent walls painted in chalky whites, pale greys, or muted stone shades. If you prefer deeper contrast, charcoal grey or slate tones in surrounding furniture, textiles, or woodwork ground the lighter grey background and highlight the intricate details of the ginkgo leaves.
