Wallpaper - Ginkgo Folia, Eucalyptus

Our Ginkgo Folia wallpaper brings a dense, layered canopy of fan-shaped ginkgo leaves to the wall in quiet eucalyptus and sage tones. Designed by Wallism Studio, the motif balances fine botanical line engraving with soft tonal shading, creating a rhythmic, scalloped flow that feels structured yet organic. The overlapping foliage moves in gentle upward waves, where subtle contrasts between pale muted green and deeper shaded outlines give the surface visual depth without overwhelming the eye. Made to measure on our PVC-free paper with a subtle paper texture, this design works beautifully as a tailored feature wall or wrapped continuously across a room to establish an inviting, botanically inspired interior.

In the room

Because the repeat is dense and consistent, Ginkgo Folia handles varied wall dimensions with ease. In a bedroom, we particularly like it on the wall behind the headboard, where the gentle upward rhythm of the foliage anchors the bed and frames low bedside furniture. In an entryway or hallway, where doors and openings frequently interrupt the wall space, the compact nature of the leaves ensures the pattern never feels broken or disjointed. It also works effortlessly in a dining area or a study, where the subdued eucalyptus palette introduces colour while maintaining a composed, focused backdrop.

Styling it

The delicate line drawing and organic geometry of the leaves pair naturally with both heritage-inspired detailing and cleaner contemporary silhouettes. We would introduce warm, natural wood finishes such as mid-tone walnut or aged oak to balance the cooler eucalyptus greens. For upholstery and textiles, dense weaves in oatmeal, chalky linen, or deep forest green create a grounding contrast against the fine linear detail of the leaves. Matte black hardware or muted antique brass accents echo the darker outlines within the pattern, pulling the whole setting together cleanly.

Colour combinations

The pattern is built from soft eucalyptus, muted sage, and pale celadon greens, outlined and shaded with deep charcoal and slate tones. Around the wallpaper, we suggest pairing adjacent painted walls with soft chalk whites, warm muted greys, or limestone neutrals that keep the atmosphere airy. If you want a more cocooning aesthetic, consider taking a saturated moss or dark olive tone onto adjacent woodwork, skirting boards, or built-in cabinetry to highlight the shaded depths of the ginkgo leaves.
